Join this hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to design, build, and publish your own personal website — no technical or prior experience required. We’ll cover the basics of HTML and CSS, typography, photography do’s and don’ts, and explore simple to advanced options for building a website, and finally guide you through publishing your newly created website online. Over 3 days, you’ll leave with a working personal website tailored to your style, and your academic and professional goals. Whether you want something simple or you’re ready to explore more advanced tools, this workshop will help to make it happen.

• Understand the basics (HTML & CSS, what is a website)
• Build your first simple page

26.9.2025, 14:00 – 18:00

• Add structure & style
• Choose your path: Simple multi-page site, OR more advanced (static site generator)
• Start adding a good draft of content
• Talk about photography (portraits, styles and colour)

Follow-up day (date will be selected with participants, 10:00–18:00)

• Publish your site
• Refine + personalise
• Colours and typography
• Adding your portrait and other images, what to look out for, what not to do
• Showcase & share with the group
• Feedback session, questions and answers etc.
