Good data outlives the project it was born in. Bad data haunts it. Somewhere in between sits the daily, unglamorous, surprisingly hard work of data curation — and that is the focus of our upcoming conference.
The Research Data Management Network at the University of Basel is inviting researchers and data specialists to share their experiences, tools, and hard-won lessons on organizing, versioning, documenting, and enriching research data with metadata — and on making it more FAIR. We're especially interested in where AI genuinely helps with curation, where it complicates things, and how sensitive data can be curated for safe sharing and reuse.
