After successfully completing the Master’s program Changing Societies, graduates may pursue either an academic or a non-academic career path. Depending on their thematic specialization, they may continue with doctoral studies in one of the participating social science disciplines.

In the non-academic labor market, the program opens up a wide range of interesting career opportunities in international organizations and non-governmental organizations, politics, public administration, or cultural and knowledge management. In addition, the program qualifies graduates for professions that are not directly linked to the themes of the degree program but require independent, methodical, and analytical work.
