SUMMARY:Save the Date – City Collaboratory 2026 in Basel
DESCRIPTION:The day’s programme will reinvigorate the Collaboratory’s
  mission to make visible the diversity of urban studies scholarship across
  Swiss institutions. This year’s meeting will bring into conversation
  urban scholars whose disciplinary specialisation does not usually bring t
 hem into sustained conversation. It begins with two plenary sessions: th
 e first is led by Kenny entitled\, “Planetary Repairs: Extractivism\, E
 cology\, and Restitutive Research”. The second\, will be led by Jon Schu
 bert and is entitled “from platform capitalism to techno-authoritarianis
 m”. After lunch\, is a city tour focusing on ongoing urban re-generati
 on initiative run by Basel’s planning department. We will end in the usu
 al spirit of networking and getting to know each other in a relaxed settin
