DESCRIPTION:The conference “Critical Gender and Diversity Knowledge. Chal
 lenges and Prospects” discusses questions of knowledge building in gend
 er and diversity research\, equality politics and diversity management. T
 he digital transfer conference of the Think Tank Gender & Diversity aims
  at initiating discussions on current problems and methods of knowledge bu
 ilding in various specific contexts on critical gender and diversity knowl
 edge. These debates and concurrent knowledge building started a long time 
 ago in different places\, at many institutions\, in specific contexts\, wi
 th numerous methods and involving various people. The conference builds on
  this knowledge\, reflects its critical potential and addresses pressing q
 uestions in several fields. The event is designed as a forum of exchange b
 etween academia\, education\, politics\, business\, media\, arts etc.\\r\
 \nContent orientation of the thematic fields:\\r\\nGender\, diversity and 
 languageMethods of knowledge sharingInstitutionalized inequality and discr
 iminationMeritocracy\, excellence & inequalityWomen in leadership position
 s\\r\\nThe panels take place digitally in various formats (e.g. workshops
 \, roundtables\, world cafés) and they are designed to make optimal use 
 of the technical possibilities to promote open dialogue.\\r\\nBecause gend
 er and diversity issues require increased attention\, especially in these 
 times\, we decided on a digital format of the conference in order to ensur
 e that it can be held and to guarantee planning security for all participa
 nts as well as open access for vulnerable persons because of COVID-19.\\r\
